The Accounting Specialist's role is to ensure accurate accounting records for the receipts and/or disbursements of the company. Duties include basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks; including posting of cash receipts, expenses, or other transactions using various accounting software programs. Other functions include reviewing invoices, bills, vouchers and supporting documentation to verify accuracy before processing. The person will sort and file documents, perform calculations and create or maintain basic financial reports. A large part of the focus for this position will be in the voiding of witness fee checks and assisting with statement processing and invoice delivery.
